Dr. Evan Gelzayd is a double board-certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Medicine physician dedicated to helping patients regain function and improve quality of life. He specializes in the comprehensive treatment of both chronic and acute pain, with advanced training in interventional pain management techniques.
Dr. Gelzayd earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he served as Chief Resident. He then pursued fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Rush University Medical Center, refining his expertise in minimally invasive and image-guided interventional procedures.
At Pain Control Associates, Dr. Gelzayd takes a patient-centered, multidisciplinary approach to care. He believes in building strong physician–patient relationships grounded in communication, empathy, and individualized treatment planning. By integrating medical management, interventional procedures, rehabilitation strategies, and when appropriate surgical collaboration, he develops tailored treatment plans designed to restore function and enhance overall well-being.
