Dr. Adlaka is double board certified in both Anesthesia and Pain Management. He is a nationally recognized expert in the field of Chronic Pain Management. Dr. Adlaka also serves as a volunteer for the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians as an instructor, training other physicians in advanced pain management techniques.

Dr. Adlaka did his pain fellowship at the State University of New York at Buffalo under Dr. Marc Lema a renowned leader in the specialty of pain management. He received a special certificate in Cancer Pain Management from Roosevelt Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo.

In 2008, Dr. Adlaka was selected to assist in developing Chronic Narcotic Guidelines for the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. An article was published in the Journal ‘Pain Physicians’.

He has also published numerous articles as well as co-authored a chapter in the textbook “The Management of Pain”.

Dr. Adlaka has served the communities of Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area providing pain management services for over 10 years.
